2012 Yuan Yuan Tang Banna Qing – Lao Banzhang & Tongqinghe

High quality tea from Taiwanese boutique Yuan Yuan Tang. Blend of ancient tree material from Lao Banzhang and Tongqinghe in Yiwu.

The taste generally alternates between sweet, mushrooms / forest, and honey. Low bitterness and astringency. Strong qi that creeps up on you. Can be steeped many times.

Personally, I like this tea more than 2009 XZH Golden Brick, and the same as 2014 BHYJ Tongqinghe. BHYJ sells for considerably more and has stronger taste, this tea has stronger qi.

Large approximately 375g cakes. Very good dry natural storage in Taiwan.
