2021 Zedao Mansong Jingua
£1.36 – £36.00
2021 Zedao Mansong Jingua – Royal Tribute Golden Melon. Material in this tea comes from Zedao gardens in Mansong. The way I understand this, is that they own land there and have a de facto monopoly on Mansong tea. I haven’t done a legal review though, nor I plan to do so, so take this with a pinch of salt.
The blurb on the inner ticket is as follows:
In 1729 A.D. Mansong officially became the Royal Tea Garden, and since then, the Imperial Tribute Golden Melon has become famous all over the world. As the saying goes, “Puerh is very good, but Manson is the best place for it. “ The Royal Tribute Golden Melon is made by adhering to the strict tea making process of seven selections and eight discards, and every detail is a work of great beauty from the inside to the outside, which is perfect and pure. The result is an excellent taste of sweetness, moistness, thickness and mellowness.
The whole thing is very over the top, including box which serves as pedestal and even NFC chip in the neifei.
If you would like a whole thing, let me know. But it’s a seriously big package, and box itself weights several kilograms.
